 2010’s Spring Texas Hold’em Festival was held  at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Secor Road, April 24th and 25th. The area’s top seventy-two players met in a final round at 1:00 PM on Sunday April 25th and played down to finale eight. Those eight squared off for cash prizes and  the use of a Las Vegas condo for one week. The condo donated by Lynn Dale-Golliher was part of the first place prize. The final eight played until there were four players left and they decided to split the remaining prize money equally.  Then one hand was played to see who would win the use of the Las Vegas condo the week of July 11th to the 18th. Chad Reeder was the winner and will spending a week in Las Vegas during the World Series of Poker’s “Main Event”. Chad is pictured above receiving his 1st place prize from PAWS president Ken Thomas.

The 2009 Toledo Texas Hold’em Championship was held November 7th and 8th 2009 at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Secor Road. The 2009 event was the 5th Toledo Championship. Pictured below Nate Ford receives his first place check and 2009 championship bracelet. Nate outlasted seventy two other who qualified for the finals including Raul Jimenez, who finished second, and Kevin Race, who finished third.
